Signature Steaks and Exceptional Cuts
Amenia Steak House is renowned for its high-quality steaks, which are the heart of the menu. The restaurant prides itself on sourcing premium cuts of meat, ensuring each dish is tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Guests can choose from an impressive variety of steaks, including the ever-popular ribeye, New York strip, and filet mignon. Whether you prefer your steak rare or well-done, the skilled chefs at Amenia Steak House know how to bring out the best in each cut, providing a culinary experience that’s sure to impress even the most discerning steak connoisseurs.
One of the standout features of their steak offerings is the careful preparation and seasoning. The steaks are expertly grilled over an open flame, allowing the natural flavors to shine through while maintaining a perfect char. Complemented by a selection of delicious sauces, including peppercorn and béarnaise, each bite is a delightful experience.
Unique Appetizers and Sides
While the steaks may steal the show, the appetizer and side menu at Amenia Steak House is equally impressive. For starters, the seafood tower is a crowd favorite, featuring fresh oysters, shrimp, and crab legs, all served chilled and ready to indulge. The calamari is another popular choice—crispy and tender, with a light, flavorful batter that pairs beautifully with a zesty dipping sauce.
The sides are far from ordinary as well. The house-made mashed potatoes, rich and creamy, are the perfect accompaniment to any steak, while the sautéed spinach with garlic offers a healthy yet flavorful contrast. Other notable sides include the roasted Brussels sprouts, which are caramelized to perfection, and the mac and cheese, which is indulgent and satisfying.
Craft Cocktails and an Extensive Wine Selection
The bar at Amenia Steak House is a well-curated space, offering a variety of craft cocktails, beers, and wines to complement any meal. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic Old Fashioned or a more adventurous concoction, the talented bartenders are more than capable of creating a drink that enhances your dining experience. The wine list is extensive, with a carefully selected range of reds and whites that pair perfectly with the robust flavors of the steaks. For those looking to enjoy a more casual drink, the selection of craft beers offers something for every palate.

Great service, comfort food and nicely made drinks! Casual, yet professional atmosphere. Consistency is very common
This was a great stop to make, as it was recommended by one of my family members. Parking isn't too bad for the most part, with plenty of spaces to be filled. We were seated upon entering and asked if we wanted to sit inside or out. Our waitress, Kate, did a wonderful job from start to finish and accommodated us when we needed it. The menu has quite a variety to choose from, which I always personally enjoy. The steaks are what they're famous for, hence the name, but what caught my eye was the Fried Chicken Wrap. I substituted tatter tots with that dish, but does come with regular fries without the substitution. All of that was very good and left satisfied. I can't wait to explore more on this menu, because I'm sure most items are very tasty and filling. All in all, I was thrilled all around.
Could be the best burger and fries I ever had!! Price was right!! Wednesdays bartender was extremely efficient and entertaining!! I will drive 1 hour to make if happen again!!
We have been going to the Amenia steakhouse on and off for quite a while now. We stopped going back in 2021 because the quality did not justify the price. Tough steaks, wilted lettuce, so we stopped going. We had recently given it another shot and grateful that we did. The prices are still up there but the quality of the food is also much better. Steaks, burgers and even the fish and salad has improved. Wife loves the surf and turf and I always enjoy the fish and chips and the seafood linguini. Apps are usually very good also. Kinda the only drawback is the French onion soup always comes out luke warm. Atmosphere is always nice as well as the service and food. I would honestly say I would once again recommend enjoying a good meal at the Amenia steakhouse.
Good food, fair price, good service. Nothing over the top, but a solid meal. Been there many of times and the burgers and steaks are excellent and not obnoxiously priced. Definitely worth going if you're in the area and want a steak or burger. Staff is nice too.
